“In the middle of every difficulty lies opportunity. “Albert Einstein”

In the world, that is chaotic, unpredictable, and full of “whys”, it is very easy to become overwhelmed by the challenges we face. From shattered dreams to unexpected detours which we have no control over, it often seems like the problems are ineluctable. But amidst the whole ataxia, there is a very powerful tool we must hold onto: There is nothing that cannot be fixed.

Resilience is the core of this belief; it is the ability to recuperate from misfortunes, adapt, seizing the opportunities and growing stronger especially in the faces of challenges and while it may not always be easy, it is always possible.

Think about the time you survived that first heartbreak, or when you did not get through that job interview, or when perhaps when you battled alone to achieve something which you could not get through, in each of these moments, you found a way to preserve, to keep going forward, even when all the odds were against you. YOU EVEN SURVIVED THE GLOBAL PANDEMIC! And time and again you have found ways to overcome challenges, found the opportunity, rebuild, and have emerged stronger than ever.

Not long ago, I found myself at a crossroads, surrounded by the wreck of what seemed to be a carefully orchestrated plot by the universe. In matters of the heart, I was adrift in a sea of uncertainty, dealing with the wreckage of a shattered relationship. Friendships I had treasured appeared to fade away, leaving a terrible echo of loneliness.  Emotionally and physically drained it took me months to make sense of any of it. There was a lot of guilt and despair that refused to fade away. But deep down I held on to the ray of hope and a belief that somehow, things will fall into place and it’s not the end.

With each passing day, I discovered a new sense of strength and resilience, that I never knew existed within me. Like a caterpillar undergoing its miraculous metamorphosis into a butterfly, I willingly embraced the cocoon of possibility. Entrusting myself to the guidance of the universe, I embarked on a tumultuous journey of self-discovery.

“The carousel never stops turning”, this profound insight from my very favourite show Grey’s Anatomy has been a poignant reminder for me that life is constant cycle of ups and downs, twists, and turns, yet within this continuous cycle lies the potential for growth, opportunities, and renewal.

So, to anyone who find themselves in a position that feel like an end just say to yourself – “I am capable.” I am resilient. “I am a problem solver”.  Believe it because it is true.
